Description
The absolute differential cross sections of electron-helium scattering in the laser field are calculated using the second Born approximation with the static screen potential including the polarization potential and the single static screen potential. The results of our calculations agree better with the experimental data by the static screen potential including the polarization potential, which show that the polarization potential plays an important role in laser-assisted electron-atom scattering.
