Oxidation of magnesium by cyclopentadienylmolybdenum(2) and tungsten(2) tricarbonyl chlorides

Description
Kinetic regularities of magnesium interaction with CpM(CO)3Cl (M = Mo, W; Cp = η5-C5H5) in tetrahydrofuran and dimethylformamide solution are considered to study feasibility of synthesizing polymetalloorganic compounds by direct oxidation of the metals. Thermodynamic parameters of reagents absorption on magnesium surface are ascertained. It is shown that major products yielded as a result of the reactions studied are the relevant analog of the Grignard reagents and compounds formed due to their symmetrization

С целью изучения возможности синтеза полиметаллоорганических соединений прямым окислением металлов определены кинетические закономерности взаимодействия магния с CpM(CO)3Cl (M = Mo, W; Cp = η5-C5H5) в растворе тетрагидрофурана и диметилформамида. Установлены термодинамические параметры адсорбции реагентов на поверхности магния. Показано, что основными продуктами изученных реакций являются соответствующие аналоги реактивов Гриньяра и соединения, образующиеся при их симметризацииAdditional details
