Description

Babcock Power Ltd (BPL) participated in the PISC (Programme for the Inspection of Steel Components) II trials using a range of independent automated and manual procedures, working in collaboration with other UK organisations. In this paper the equipment and procedures used on Plates No. 2 and 9 are described, and the results obtained are given. Comparisons are made between these results and the 'global' averages, and between results for automated and manual procedures. (author)
