Description
Mean multiplicities of hadrons in hadron-hadron collisions and in current-induced reactions are discussed. It is argued that we have to consider one of three possibilities: (1) A more rapid growth with lns of multiplicities in e+e- annihilations than in hadronic collisions. (2) Violations of constituent-counting rules for exclusive cross sections. (3) Substantially different clustering properties of hadrons in e+e- annihilations than in hadronic collisions
