Description
A novel compound, N-(o-methylthiophenyl)-β-mercaptoacetamide (MTPMA), as a tridentate ligand, was synthesized and characterized by IR, 1HNMR, MS(FAB+) and elemental analysis. Two 99Tcm mixed-ligand complexes of 99Tcm(L3,L1a) and 99Tcm(L3,L1b) were produced by ligand exchange reaction. At the same time, the optimized conditions for labelling were obtained. At these conditions, the radiochemical purity of both complexes was better than 90% and they were stable over 6 h at room temperature. Biodistribution study showed that both complexes can penetrate the blood-brain barrier and exhibit retention in mice's brain
