Experimental searches for non-strange dibaryons

Description

Experiments on studying non-strange dibaryon production in pp-pn-, π+d → γd, pd-reactions investigated in different laboratories of the world in recent years are reviewed. Experimental data on single pion production in inelastic nucleon-nucleon interactions at 800-1186 MeV are presented. Data from different laboratories on πd-elastic scattering, γ+d → p+n, γ+d → p+p+π--reactions, their differential cross sections, polarization characteristics, mass spectra are considered. Production of narrow dibaryon resonances in d(p,p')np, π++d → pp, p+3He → d+x reactions and dp → p(pn) collapse reaction are investigated. Different theoretical predictions and methods of phase analysis applied for description of differential and total cross sections of the investigated processes are discussed
