On the specific effect of ionizing radiation on stability of dispersed system
Description
An e toattempt was mad classify the facts ionizing radiation effect on stability of colloids and suspensions, described in literature and to propose eXplanation for several cases. Systems, in Which the formation and growth of dispersed phase during irradiation take place were studied. It is radiation polymerization, in the caus of which polymer, dispersed in a liquid phase (emulsion polymerization, precipitation polymerization), crystallization in the field of ionizing radiation, etc. form. It was proposed that formation of charge in dispersed particles is the reason of specific radiation effect is the case of dispersed systems, formed during irradiation
