Description
Shielding design in Fast Breeder Reactor (FBR) is of importance from considerations of minimising material degradation, reducing secondary activity and to limit the dose rate to operating personnel. In this paper, design criteria adopted, shielding aspects for core, primary sodium pool and top shield penetrations for Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) have been discussed.
