Q-Deformed Harmonic Oscillator and Morse-like Anharmonic Potential

Description
Connection between q-deformed harmonic oscillator and Morse-like anharmonic potential is investigated. It is well known that the potential of harmonic oscillator is parabolic. We have shown that the potential of q-deformed harmonic oscillator could be a Morse-like anharmonic potential. The relation between the deformation parameter q and the set of parameters of Morse-like anharmonic potential was found. We also investigated the partition function and some thermodynamic properties of q-deformed harmonic oscillator. (paper)
