The system of labelled photons on the Tomsk synchrotron

Description
The installation for generation of the labelled photons with the energy spread of 2% is described. The basic components of the system are represented by the vacuum channel, aluminum convertor, magnetic screens and magnetic analizer. The rejected electrons are recorded by 20 scintillation counters with the photoelectronic multipliers connected in pairs in accordance with the coincidence circuit. The resolution time of the coincidence circuits amounts to 3 - 10 ns. The system provides for generation of the photons with the energy from 200 to 850 MeV. The rejection of the labelled photons, when the number of the accelerated electrons is equal to 1010, amounts to 5x1O4 quantum/cycle per channel
