Description
A study of cases of cracks in feedwater pipes of boiling water reactors (BWR) and pressurized water reactors (PWR) have been carried out. Examination of amplitude and frequency of stresses in normal service has been conducted. Presumed causes of cracks and lessons to be learnt from them are outlined. (author)
