Non-sinusoidal currents and their application in contact microwelding

Symistor power-supply unit for contact microwelding is offered, the scheme of test bench is given, by means of which the family of current-voltage-characteristics of secondary circuit was received, the form and spectrum of welding voltage is shown. In authors' opinion in case of non-sinusoidal voltage the weld quality is determined not by current limitation but by the effect of the upper harmonics. (author)
