Linear equilibrium dynamics of the process of water radiation-adsorption purification from chemical pollutants
Description
A mathematical model of linear equilibrium dynamics of the process of γ-radiation-adsorptional refining of chemically contaminated water has been suggested. The frontal method of refining has been considered as the simplest illustration. It is shown that radiation factor first of all results in exponential attenuation of the adsorption wave, propagating along the column, and then in the increase of its motion rate. In the framework of the model the mathematical foundation of previously observed regime of prolonged radiation-adsorption purification is obtained
