Quark model and B-B scattering II. Λ-P scattering
Description
The Λ-p scattering total cross sections of E = 1--450 MeV and the Λ-N effective potential have been calculated using the same parameters as in the N-N scattering calculation2 with the unequal mass RGM extended from equal mass RGM. The SU/sup( sigmaf/)6 symmetry and symmetric breaking spin-flavor wave functions are adopted. The result of the latter is in good agreement with experiment. The calculated effective Λ-p potential has a clear odd-even effect
