Description

This second part of a preview on the development tendencies in the energy sector makes it clear that alterations can only be made very slowly and at considerable expense. This refers, above all, to decreasing the dependence on crude oil. It is expected that the use of national hard coal, intensified for reasons of energy policy, will be determined by revised growth rates. (UA/LN)

Abstract (German)

Diese Fortsetzung einer Vorschau auf Entwicklungstendenzen auf dem Energiesektor macht deutlich, dass Aenderungen nur sehr langsam und mit erheblichem finanziellen Aufwand erfolgen koennen. Das betrifft vor allem den Abbau der Abhaengigkeit vom Erdoel. Es wird erwartet, dass der aus energiepolitischen Gruenden verstaerkte Einsatz von heimischer Steinkohle durch revidierte Wachstumsraten in seinem Umfang bestimmt wird. (UA)
