Ultrafast polarization and magnetization dynamics in a multiferroic GaFeO3

Description

We have investigated the ultrafast dynamical behaviors of the electric polarization and the magnetization in a multiferroic GaFeO3. We show that the time-resolved nonlinear optical technique is a powerful tool for the probe of the ultrafast dynamics of multiferroic properties.
