Semi-classical approach to the strongly magnetized hydrogen atom

Virial considerations are used to investigate the quantum number assignments in the extreme limits (B→0 and B→infinity). The cylindrification process appears well based in the whole B range and the spectrum may be worked out in the WKB approximation. (Auth.)
