Device for the production of Pu fuel rods for nuclear reactors
Description
A device for filling and closing plutonium fuel rods is to be improved so as to allow continuous work to be performed in a glove box and, as far as possible, avoid contamination of the outsides of the fuel rods. In the invention, the glove box is equipped with a disk carrying several plug-in bores, a lock chamber being arranged in front of each plug-in bore. (RW)

Eine Einrichtung zum Fuellen und Verschliessen von Plutoniumbrennstaeben soll dahingehend verbessert werden, dass eine kontinuierliche Arbeit im Handschuhkasten moeglich ist und dass eine Kontamination der Aussenseite der Brennstaebe moeglichst vermieden wird. Erfindungsgemaess erhaelt der Handschuhkasten eine mit mehreren Einsteckbohrungen versehene Scheibe, wobei vor jeder Einsteckbohrung eine Schleusenkammer angeordnet ist. (RW)Files
