Stress corrosion crack preventing method and plant using the same
Description
The present invention is suitable to prevent stress corrosion crackings of in-core structures in a BWR plant and a thermoelectric power plant. pH and dissolved oxygen concentration in an aqueous solution are controlled being adjusted with each other within a range satisfying the condition of pH 6-10 and dissolved oxygen concentration of not more than 150ppb to prevent stress corrosion crackings. Specifically, a control device controls pH and dissolved oxygen concentration so as to attain correlation as defined in operation data. A pH control device controls pH by the control signal, and a dissolved oxygen concentration controlling device controls dissolved oxygen concentration by injecting hydrogen into water. (I.S.)
