A change of lipid metabolism in rats with a pronounced intestinal form of radiation sickness after local irradiation of abdomen
Description
Local X-irradiation of rat abdomen causes a pronounced hyperlipemia after 4 and 72 h and a considerable accumulation of phospholipids and triacylglycerides in the liver after 72 h. In the thymus, the content of the unetherified fatty acids decreased 4 h and that of cholesterol increased 72 h after irradiation
