Description

A new approach to solution of the Faddeev integral equations is proposed and realized. The method is based upon decomposition over hyperspherical functions in the momentum representation; it enables one to reduce the problem to solution of one-dimensional integral equations for any two-particle potential. With the examples of three-particle nuclei 3H and sub(Σsup(0))sup(9)Be good convergence in the number of K harmonics taken into account for several known local two-particle interaction potentials is shown. The new approach incorporates a new partial-wave expansion for the Faddeev wave functions, and the two-particle T matrix off the energy shell is obtained at its application, in addition to the binding energies and the wave functions
