Studies of combined electric quadrupole and magnetic interaction for radon in iron
Description
A very direct way to study the hyperfine interactions among the trans-lead elements is to use the perturbed α-γ angular correlation method, where the recoiling energy from the alpha decay is used to implant the daughter atoms into suitable host lattices. In this report preliminary studies of the hyperfine interactions for 220222Rn in iron are described. (Auth.)
