Possibility of the cluster controlled fusion

Description

A method of generating a high-temperature thermonuclear plasma at interaction of colliding accelerated deuterium clusters inside a magnetic trap is suggested. It is noted that a check of feasibility of such method of plasma production can be carried out now at the developed and operating facilities. The proposed method of high-temperature plasma production has no principal restrictions as regards 10 keV plasma generation with a highly efficient conversion of the spent energy into plasma energy. For this purpose, it is necessary to bring up the specific energy of accelerated clusters to 100-200 keV/deuteron
