Polarization characteristics of the coherent bremsstrahlung at a nonaxial collimation

Description
The Stokes parameters of the coherent brehmsstrahlung on a thin monocrystal target are calculated at a nonaxial collimation by means of the Born approximation. It is shown that the polarization of the γ beam increases considerably in comparison with an axial collimation. The azimuthal dependence of the intensity is considered, and the possibility is shown to use it for a definition of the maxium polarization plane
