Investigation of collimated fast-neutron beams
- 1. Bonn Univ. (Germany, F.R.). Inst. fuer Strahlen- und Kernphysik
Description
A method is described which allows for the accurate determination of intensity distributions in and around a collimated fast-neutron beam by means of fission recoil radiography. The procedure has been applied to the investigation of the neutron beam at the cyclotron of the University of Bonn. In addition, a Monte Carlo study has been made in order to examine the composition of the beam in more detail. (orig.)
