Review Of Studies On Biological Effects Of Electromagnetic Fields
Description
Modern Civilization has contributed a mixture of electromagnetic fields (EMF), of different frequencies, to our environment. The public is becoming increasingly concerned about possible health effects of EMF exposure. Several studies were conducted, some of which by governmental agencies, to address these health effects issues, It is important to emphasize that up till now, information about possible health effects of EMF of low field strength is relatively limited and leads to contradictory conclusions. This review will present a summary of studies on biological effects of EMF exposures and will present the current adopted EMF exposure limits at the different frequencies. These limits are subject to possible future changes based on substantiated data for or against low strength EMF health hazards
