The search for scale invariant cosmology
Creators
Description
To obtain a unified theory in which gravity can be related to the other three fundamental forces - the strong and weak forces within the nucleus of the atom, and electromagnetism - many cosmologists have been searching for a theory of gravity that is scale invariant. Methods in which scale invariance can be built into a theory of the Universe by allowing gravity to vary with time are discussed. (U.K.)
