Possible existence of the ω' meson around 1.2 GeV and radiative decays of vector mesons

Description

SU(3) symmetry breaking in the radiative decay of vector mesons and the deviation from rho-ω universality in hadronic vertices indicate an enhanced gauge-type (or f-type) coupling of the ω meson. The SU(3) chare operator dominated by vector mesons together with the OZI-rule then require a cancelling ω' pole around 1.2 GeV, which may be identified with the second pole in the nucleon isoscalar form factor. Abstract (German)
