- 1. Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center, Ministry of Environmental Protection, Beijing (China)
- 2. China Institute for Radiation Protection, Taiyuan (China)
Description
Engineering study achievements of electro-chemical decontamination are used in decontamination of radioactive contaminated metals. Results show that electro-chemical decontamination has more excellent decontamination effect than detergent wiping and chemical decontamination; in 5 minutes, radioactive level can be lower than LD; radioactive level decreased in logarithmic curve and DF increased in linear with electrolytic time increasing.
