Some aspects of the experimental study of supraconducting films
Description
Most of the recent published work on the characterisation of the superconducting oxide film properties concern their critical temperature Tc, upper critical fields Hc2 and critical currents Jc. In this paper, we examine how these quantities are usually measured; we point out some of the problems encountered for the measurements and their interpretation. We underline the influence of the anisotropy of the microstructure of the new superconductors on Hc2 and Jc and recall well characterized results obtained previously on model multilayered superconductors

Les etudes experimentales publiees a ce jour sur la caracterisation de leurs proprietes supraconductrices concernent en majorite la determination de la temperature critique, des champs critiques superieurs Hc2, du courant critique Jc. C'est sur ces determinations que portera cet expose: nous discuterons a partir de quelques exemples experimentaux les problemes poses par la mesure et son interpretation de ces parametres caracteristiques. Nous soulignerons l'influence de la forte anisotropie de ces oxydes sur Hc2 et Jc et nous rappellerons des resultats bien caracterises obtenus dans des supraconducteurs classiques en multicouches. 19 refsAdditional details
