Inelastic diproton resonances: K-matrix analysis

Description
On the basis of the phase-shift analyses of Refs. 1 and 2 we have performed a K-matrix analysis of the partial amplitudes 1D2, 3F3, and 3P2--3F2 in the energy range 142--1000 MeV and determined locations of poles and values of residues in the pp channel. The pattern of pole location indicates that the resonance behavior of the amplitudes studied is a result of strong coupling in the NΔ channel
