Separation in mercury-gallium-cadmium system

Description

Compositions of coexisting equilibrium liquid phases, separation temperatures, monotectic equilibrium of 11 samples of system alloys were determined gamma-method of investigation of separated metal systems was used. The obtained data reveal the character of mutual effect of gallium and cadmium on their solubility in mercury, depending on temperature and concentration ratios. 9 refs., 2 tabs
