Electron absorption by a substance. Scaling

Description
Scale transformations of energy and macroscopic scale enable to determine dependence of characteristics of fast charged particle transport through a substance on medium atomic number Z are considered. Expression for determines of transmission factor on Z is obtained. Conclusion is made, absorption of fast electron flux in a substance may be described in terms of Thomas-Fermi automodel theory
