Roentgen localization devices

Original markers for X-ray localization of different organs, pathological formations and concrements are proposed. They are applied in a series of 109 patients. A complete set of marking devices includes: a metal ring with a changeable size, a marker for radioisotopic localization, a metal reference pointer, a marking ruler, marking coordinates. The markers facilitate the conduction of X-ray study, interpretation of the findings and possible subsequent manipulations. The radiation exposure of both medical personnel and patients is reduced. Implementation of the marking devices in routine daily practice is recommended. 2 refs., 5 figs. (orig.)
