Energoscope - Guidebook of all, known and unknown, energies
Creators
Description
This book makes an inventory of all the energie sources which could be exploited in the future. Some well-known ones, like oil, gas and coal, take on a new lease of life thanks to new R and D technologies, while some poorly known ones but also some totally unknown ones are presented: the swinging of tides, the heat of deserts, the gases of other planets, all are waiting to be exploited. Illustrated with many examples, this guidebook presents some experiments that have been carried out in laboratories and some possible practical applications of these energy sources in our future everyday life with their advantages and drawbacks.
