Description

A sensitive radioimmunoassay for human β-endorphin is described. Rabbit-anti-human-β-endorphin serum was used as antiserum. The radioactive tracer was prepared by iodination of β-endorphin with the iodogen method. The determination of β-endorphin-like immunoreactivity was performed after extraction. Normal plasma levels are presented. (author)
