Cosmic radiation anisotropy
Description
The presented analysis concerning the cosmic radiation anisotropy allows us to conclude that no more than a few percent of the total cosmic ray flux in the energy region 1018 - 1019 eV is of galactic origin. Assuming that the effectiveness of radiation from the mass unity of the Local group of Galaxies is the same as that of our Galaxy we can show that a fraction of the total cosmic ray flux due to those galaxies is rather small. A similar conclusion is also reached in the case of the radio galaxies if it is assumed that the spectral index of the cosmic rays in those galaxies is the same as that in the Galaxy. (author)
