Extraction preconcentration and atomic absorption determination of iron, copper, zinc, cadmium and lead in natural waters
- 1. Kievskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (Ukrainian SSR)
Description
A study was made on conditions of extraction concentration of Fe, Cu, Zn, Cd, Pb microquantities using benzylamine and pelargonic acid in water-decane system. 100% extraction of mentioned element microquantities are obtained in the range of pH 6.2-9.2 at a certain content of extracting reagents. The volume of analyzed aqueous solution can exceed sufficiently the volume of organic solvent used for the extraction. The limits of metal detection by atomic-absorption method in natural water (mkg/l) are not above: Fe-3.0; Cu and Cd-1.0; Zn-2.0; Pb-5.0. The relative standard deviation equals 0.02-0.07 at element concentrations from 10 up to 100 mkg/l
