Rotary transmission device
Description
The proposal is concerned with an improvement of the sealing for rotary transmissions, leading to adjusting devices in contaminated rooms, like e.g. boxes for handling radioactive material. The shaft pivoted in the rotary transmission is sealed by a liquid packing. Its terminal cross-section, extending into the contaminated room, is connected with one half of a coupling, tightly and rotatably supported, which on the other hand is closed with respect to the contaminated room by means of a partition wale. Other favorable designs, allowing an easy exchange of the transmission, are described. (UWI)

Der Vorschlag betrifft eine Verbesserung der Dichtung von Drehdurchfuehrungen, die zu Stellvorrichtungen in kontaminierten Raeumen, wie z.B. Boxen zum Arbeiten mit radioaktivem Material, fuehren. Die in der Drehdurchfuehrung drehbar gelagerte Welle ist mit einer Fluessigkeitspackung gedichtet und ihr Endabschnitt, der in den kontaminierten Raum hineinragt, ist mit einer dicht und drehbar abgestuetzten Kupplungshaelfte verbunden, die wiederum gegenueber dem kontaminierten Raum durch eine Trennwand abgeschlossen ist. Weitere vorteilhafte Ausbildungen, die einen leichten Austausch der Drehdurchfuehrung ermoeglichen, sind beschrieben. (UWI)Files
