The relation of rock reducibility to uranium mineralization in the lower member of middle Jurassic Zhiluo formation in Hantaimiao area, Ordos basin

Description

This paper analysed the geological parameters of rock reducibility of the lower member of middle Jurassic Zhiluo formation in Hantaimiao area, Ordos basin. It was found that the intensity of reducibility of the strata was related to the thickness, grade and mass per square meters of uranium ore body. Strata with strong and weak reducibility could be adverse to the enrichment of uranium ore body, only the sequence with proper reducibility favors the relative accumulation of uranium mineralization.
