Tight plug device for a traversing aperture

Description

This device comprises a sleeve and a plug. The internal diameter of the sleeve comprises a part with a diameter inferior at the diameter of the plug and terminated by a shoulder on which the plug leans. A hammering permits to fix the plug in the sleeve. The fixation is terminated by three seal welds. This device applies particularly to the sealing of pressurized water reactor steam generator tube plate

Abstract (French)

Le dispositif comporte un manchon et un bouchon. L'alesage interieur du manchon comporte une partie de diametre inferieur au diametre exterieur du bouchon terminee par un epaulement sur lequel vient s'appuyer le bouchon. Un retreint permet de fixer le bouchon dans le manchon. La fixation est terminee par trois soudures d'etancheite entre lesquelles sont prevus un orifice traversant la paroi laterale du manchon et un orifice traversant la paroi laterale du bouchon. Le dispositif s'applique en particulier au bouchage des alesages d'une plaque tubulaire de generateur de vapeur de reacteur nucleaire a eau sous pression
