Selection of control rods for APP and its xenon transient process in WWER-1000

Description
Accelerated previous protect (APP) of WWER-1000 is set to rapidly decrease reactor nuclear power to avoid shut down of reactor at some special conditions. The control rods for APP depend on the state of reactor core. The simulation of selection process of APP control rods and xenon transient are performed by using KASKAD code .the results could supply some suggestion for operation of nuclear plants. (authors)
