Pneumatic system for sample transportation in Celeste I installation

Description

Available as short communication only. A pneumatic system for sample transportation has been implanted in Celeste I installation at IPEN-CNEN/SP. This system brought the following advantages to the hot cell operation: easy displacement of the process samples from the installation to the analytical glove boxes reducing the response time, promoting the waste minimization and finally, improving the general safety. Evaluation test of the system has shown its high performance and efficiency. (author). 2 refs, 4 figs
