Fit for the dismantling. Tailor-made EDP system for process support during facilities dismantling

Description
After the nuclear phase-out nine German nuclear power plants (NPP) are in the so-called post-operation. By 2022, another eight plants will be added. This presents society and energy suppliers with historically important tasks. Carefully radioactive materials must be separated from those that pose no danger. It is necessary to establish decommissioning logistical processes that are suitable for handling up to 150,000 Mg of dismantling masses per NPP. The requirements for a complete and at any time traceable collection, documentation, balancing and flow tracking of the dismantling masses as well as operational as well as decommissioning and decommissioning related radioactive operational waste, from their formation to the handover to a downstream disposal company, can only be fulfilled by suitable IT support. In cooperation with GiS mbH as system and implementation partner, EnBW Kernkraft has developed a dismantling logistics system to market maturity, implemented it and applies it to ongoing decommissioning and dismantling projects.
Abstract (German)
Nach dem Atomausstieg befinden sich neun deutsche Kernkraftwerke (KKW) im so genannten Nachbetrieb. Bis 2022 werden weitere acht Anlagen hinzukommen. Dies stellt Gesellschaft und Energieversorger vor historisch bedeutsame Aufgaben. Sorgfaeltig muessen radioaktive Materialien von solchen getrennt werden, von denen keine Gefahren ausgehen. Es muessen rueckbau-logistische Prozesse etabliert werden, die geeignet sind, je KKW Abbaumassen in der Groessenordnung von bis zu 150 000 Mg zu bewaeltigen. Die Anforderungen an eine vollstaendige und jederzeit nachvollziehbare Erfassung, Dokumentation, Bilanzierung und Flussverfolgung der Abbaumassen sowie von betriebsbedingten als auch rueckbau- und stilllegungsbedingten radioaktiven Betriebsabfaellen, von deren Entstehung bis hin zur Uebergabe an einen nachgelagerten Entsorger, sind nur durch geeignete IT-Unterstuetzung zu erfuellen. Die EnBW Kernkraft hat in Zusammenarbeit mit der GiS mbH als System- und Implementierungspartner ein Rueckbaulogistiksystem zur Marktreife entwickelt, bei sich implementiert und wendet es in den laufenden Stilllegungs- und Abbauvorhaben an.Additional details
