B and D meson decays in the heavy quark effective theory

Description
We study semi- and non-leptonic decays of B and D mesons in the heavy-quark effective theory (HQET). By using the maximum likelihood method, it is shown that not only B decays but also D decays (D0 → K-l-barνl, D0 → K-π+ and K-ρ+) are well described if O(Λ-bar/mc) and O(Λ-bar/ms) corrections are both taken into account.
