Low-level radioactivity and infant mortality
Description
This chapter evaluates the hypothesis that low-level radiation from the radioactive decay of strontium-90 appearing as fallout from the atmospheric testing of nuclear weapons has an extremely high effect on human fetuses and on infants. It is argued that the causal connection between fallout and ''excess'' mortality is a logical mistake. After the strontium-90 has disappeared, it is proposed that the logically correct conclusion is that the excess must disappear
