The study of scintillator based lost fast ion probe

Description
The Scintillator based lost fast ion probe system is a detector which is used to measure the flux of escaping fast ions versus pitch angle and energy with time running in Tokamak devices. It is an important tool to study the transport and confinement of energetic ions. It studied the size of the scintillator screen, the proper scintillator material, and the collimation system of the lost fast ion probe to be used in HL-2A. The scintillator materials used for ITER is also studied. (authors)
