Description

A technique for continuous remote lapse-rate measurements using atmospheric refraction over complex terrain has been developed. Using a vertically oriented 1024 element linear photodiode array at the focus of a C-90 Celestron to detect laser radiation, the lapse rate of the Big Sulfur Creek Valley was determined
