Description
This document summarizes the experience feedback of the main French gas utilities regarding biomethane injection in the natural gas network through the presentation of key figures for the year 2021: number of sites in operation and their geographical distribution with their typology and injection capacity, key data for all type of sites, key data for agricultural and industrial sites, purification technologies and actors, presentation of the different injection indicators and of the injection sites performance and availability. Next, the regulatory evolutions of the sector are summarized (production certificates, support mechanisms, injection rights, interconnection between suppliers, metering). The situation of compression facilities development and CO2 valorization is provided
