Description

For the development of digital multi-channel real demand, we propose a high-speed peak detection technology based on FPGA, and we use the ARM + FPGA architecture to realize the digital multi-channel system based on this peak detection technology. Using the Modelsim software to simulate, the algorithm can accurately obtain the extreme value for Gaussian signals and obtain amplitude values. Then, we used the CZT detector and 241Am gamma-ray to test the digital multi-channel system, experimental results show that the peak detection algorithm and digital multi-channel system can accurately and quickly get energy spectrum. And by setting the algorithm a reasonable threshold level, it can test different baseline values of the preamplifier signal. (authors)
